Thanks to this tutorial, you’ll discover how to link your Google Calendar to your HubSpot contacts and send SMS messages for appointment reminders for events created directly in the CRM.
Note: This tutorial is also adapted for the use of Outlook calendars. The steps of this tutorial are the same as for Google Calendar.
Requirements:
The integration with Google Calendar and your HubSpot account will allow you to automatically send reminder SMS messages about appointments to your contacts.
Fill in all the details of the appointment for them to appear in Google Calendar and be used to send an appointment reminder by SMS.
1) Insert the mobile number (ex: 0721549693) that will receive the appointment reminder SMS in the event description.
2) Choose the time of the appointment in Start time and save the appointment.
Remember: If you haven’t chosen to insert a mobile number in the “Title” of the appointment, you can indicate the name of the contact to appear in Google Calendar. This is optional but it will allow you to more easily navigate your Google Calendar without affecting the settings of the appointment reminder.
